Board Game for "Who/What is that?"

This is an easy pattern practice board game “Who / What is that?”. Looking at the pictures in the game, students must decide whether to ask “Who is that?” or “What is that?”.

Students make groups. They play Rock Scissors, Paper to determine who will go first. This games is easiest when played in a circle.
Player 1 rolls the dice and moves the appropriate number of spaces. Looking at the picture, they must decide whether to ask “Who is that?” or “What is that?”.

They ask the question to Player 2 (sitting next to them). Player 2 answers “That’s (a)…..”. Then it’s Player 2’s turn to roll the dice and ask the question.
This circle continues until they reach the finish, or until time runs out.
