Winter Vacation: Yes or No

A quick spoken activity whereby the teacher asks/says a sentence and listeners say YES or NO.

This is a spur of the moment activity to warm up a class at the start of the new year in Japan. The grammar is past tense. I'd let students answer just yes or no, but would have (Yes, I did or No, I didn`t written on the blackboard). Reactions will be good, by you or the students. I aim to do this in elementary school but it could work with higher levels of education.
The basic idea is you read the sentence from this list and students answer yes or no. You can negoitate for meaning if something is unknown.

Here is the list:

I didn't put in toshidama because last year I found some students said no and felt awkward. Also I don't mention about family members.
If you want to , you could use this in a worksheet and have students do a survey on each other.
