What is it

Students guess the characters/animals. This activity is a hit for 1st and 2nd graders as a warm up activity.

I first tried the hang man approach but the image of someone getting hanged doesn't really work for young kids. Lol
Now I use a smiley face with huge 6 teeth. Every time the students give an incorrect answer, I erase a tooth.
You can use this activity as a warm up or if you still have time left in the lesson.
