This worksheet covers the basics for practicing the "want to" grammar form.
Start with talking about the grammar pattern.
Review the vocabulary in the box and go over the fill in the blanks together as a class.
Practice the sample dialogue and have students practice it in pairs. Use new names and actions instead of just reading what is on the paper.
For part C, students should interview some of their classmates and make a sentence based on what they are told by their classmates. Doing an example together is highly recommended.
All in all, nothing fancy. If you don't know anything about Doraemon or Anpanman, a few of the lines might be confusing. But the students will all be familiar with these characters as they are iconic in Japan, so don't worry about it too much.
Enjoy!
