June English Board

English board materials (trivia, vote, news, song of the month, fathers day)

Here are some of the materials that I made for my June English Board in case anyone wanted some ideas or easy printable material for their own board.
I used some of the other great Pride materials on the site already, so I didn't make any of my own for this month.

Most of the information for this board came from this website:

https://web-holidays.com/

I took this months vote around the teachers office as well before putting it onto the board. I highly recommend doing so just to watch them sweat over the choice of sushi vs ramen.

The news story is from here: (they have a lot of good resources and you can change the stories to various difficulty levels so I highly recommend it)

https://breakingnewsenglish.com/

I hope you'll find these useful!

Also, if you have any song recommendations or news articles for future months I would love to know them!

EDIT

I realized while making the next month's board that I left May on some of the pages instead of June. It has been fixed now. I'm sorry for the mistake.

I started using your materials on my JHS's English board and it made a great impression to the teachers especially to the vice principal. I can't wait for the July edition. Thank you for creating such a masterful piece.

What program do you use to make your calendars? I love the formatting for this one but would like one for June 2024!

Thanks so much for these. They will be a big contribution to my English corner.

I like the idea of a monthly vote, like in Splatoon. Do kids simply sign to vote for their preference?

@Cityfan I put up some little stickers I get from my school's office for kids to put on, but a pen hanging on a string would also work well I think!
