Let’s Try 1 How many

This lesson consists of a warm up activity using number cards and seven steps song in the text book, a game using keynote app and a worksheet

Warm up:
Cut the number cards and give one card to each student
Play the seven steps song. Students stand up whenever they hear the numbers encircled in their card.

Game: Treasure hunter

This game is played individually for this lesson.

Each treasure chest contains coin/s
Students choose 1 among the 3 treasure chests.
On their worksheet, they shade the number of coins they get from the treasure chest.
There are 20 coins in total. At the end of the game, the students count the coins they collected.

Activity:

Students walk around the classroom and ask how many coins their friends have.

NOTES:
Keynote is best used for the game.
The number cards and worksheet are on the keynote slides.

      It may need some cleaning up afterwards though.
