Made a PowerPoint map to practice direction.
Have students prepare communication cards first.
Demonstrate using the PPT slide with JTE/HRT. Place the card in one of the empty spots. JTE/HRT does the same thing. ALT and JTE/HRT play Janken. The winner ask for _____'s direction. The loser gives direction.
A: Excuse me.
B: Yes?
A: Where is the _____?
B: Go straight for _ block(s). Turn left/right. You can see it on your left or right.
A: Thank you very much.
B: You're welcome.
When finished, change the roles. A will be B, and B will be A.
Encourage students to place their cards in some difficult/far spots.
