Lesson plan.
- Go through all the parts of the body.
- Sing head, shoulders, knees and toes. I use a youtube video from super simple songs.
- Worksheet.
The students make their own original characters. First, they hold their pencil upright with the tip in the middle of the wheel. They let go of the pencil and whatever number it falls on, they write it on the table next to the wheel. I do not suggest spinning the pencil because i’ve seen instances where pencils fly off the air.
After writing down the numbers, they draw the eyes, ears, mouth and nose on the blank head according to the number that they have written.
This is a fun extra activity for Unit 9.

According to the number, what do you mean by that? Do you mean to write the number it fell on as the body part or draw body parts multiply that number?
