Students search for characters using the dialogue: 'What day is it?' 'It's _________.'
I tend to ask the students the question and have them answer individually to guess, but you can also have the whole class ask the question together.
Click on the box with the corresponding day and see if the character is there. Answers are in the notes.
To create new questions, copy the hidden slide, hide the box with your chosen answer. Delete the gif/image/kanji and place a character of your choice. Then go to the animation for the answer box and under effect options, change the sound from the jews harp to kids cheering.
Inspired by the 'Where is Naruto?' game.
2023 Update: I added a version using one of the UB Kyokasho fonts because the original font didn't work on my JTE's tablet.
Great Post
I like it. And the kids will love it. Thanks very much.
I made a similar game previously with different characters and the kids went crazy for it!
I used this with my elementary 2nd graders today, and they absolutely loved it! Thank you so much!
