I've done this in classes where teachers want a reading review. Helps if the students have read once before, but you can read together and make the storyboards.
Prep:
Storyboard cards (I cut up A4 size papers into six)
Using the powerpoint, teach students what a storyboard is. The powerpoint includes three storyboards they might recognize and they can try guessing English title to movies. Emphasize storyboard cards don't have to be perfect.
(Feel free to make the powerpoint more 'you' I just love to add Kirby to everything)
Split the class into groups and have students assign amongst themselves who does what part of the reading, ideally they draw two or three cards each.
(You could also have them call "first, second, third..." and they will have to make a storyboard card for those paragraphs/sections.)
Give students a time limit and throw in a "draw with your left hand for 2 min." for laughs.
When students complete their storyboard cards, they shuffle their storyboard cards and hand it over to a different group.
The groups then have to rearrange the storyboard cards into the correct order.
Or, you could have groups lay out their storyboard on their desks and groups walk around to see everyone's storyboard.
