- Make pairs. Each student have their own copy. They have to use one each round (There will be only two rounds) 2.Students have to choose who goes first. Student have to say the word before crossing it out. ( each student should use different color of pen) 3.The first round should be around 2 mins. While they take turns to say and cross out the word ( It's up to you how much time you want it) 4.The most crossed out word is the winner.
- Second round should be shorter time.
P.S. I used this warm up for 8th grade flight announcement Here we go 2! page 41 but you can use it anytime you like. Depending on their level you can shout the words and have them cross it out. I use them as a pair activity to break the tension between the seat mate.
