I made this for my special needs students, so how long it will take depends a lot on the individual class. Don`t expect them to be able to do an introduction after just a few minutes and some repetition, of course. I suggest going over the lesson, practicing each slide a few times, and then giving them time to write their own intro in English. You should work closely with your JTE on that part.
If you have students who can't speak, ask them their name, where they're from, etc., and let them answer thumbs up or thumbs down.
Wat! I am doing the same thing. I am making them make posters and then present them!! I am focusing on projects this term with my special needs students!!
