There are 2 activities built into this board. It is meant for ES so it looks simple so they can follow along.
1st activity is matching the English words to the Halloween character using velcro patches. There is an envelope with the strips of English words on it. Students have to attatch them to the corresponding velcro patch by the Halloween monster. I will have to add an answer key somewhere in there as well.
2nd activity is to draw a tally mark on the students favorite monsters! They draw the tallies on the yellow paper next to the monster. Teachers can do it too. I would encourage American style tallies so its easy to count. At the end of the month (or next month?) you can take a poll on the most popular monsters!
The 2 big pumpkins contain the rules in both Eng and Jp.
