Hello all,
I don't like Unit 7 of the lets try 1 textbook... but i still try to make it interesting haha.
This activity is just a simple quiz where students try to guess the object with the shapes given. My hope is that the students will gain a small interest in looking at their everyday lives and all the shapes around them haha.
I usually run this activity by having students use their previous knowledge of numbers and colors to get them to practice saying "2 black circles", 6 yellow triangles" etc.
the powerpoint is very easy to run, just keep hitting the arrow keys to proceed to each slide or shape movement etc.
The answers are:
1. Car
2. Sun
3. Snowman
4. flower
5. house
6. nintendo switch
I made this activity in only 20 minutes so some small details such as the switch colors being backwards are present (My students let me know immediately haha) feel free to fix it if you want it to be absolutely perfect .I think small mistakes can actually engage students more so i left it in.
