Just a fun Christmas bingo that can be easily played for many rounds and take up a whole class period if you need!
You'll need:
- Copies of the bingo sheet for each student
- Flashcards
- Scissors
Print out the 5x5 board and have the students cut out the 25 pieces.
Have them arrange the words to their liking in a 5x5 pattern and let the bingo begin!
I didn't review the words before hand because there are so many, so I did it while I called out the cards during the bingo game.
We played until there were about 5 bingo winners. After that we had them shuffle the cards and make a new 5x5 board to play another round with. Rinse and repeat. Play for as much time as you need or want.
Have stickers for winners to really get the excitement going!
Played this with ES 1st and 2nd grades mostly and it was a hit. The HRT's really enjoyed it as well, especially when you ask them to call a card. :)
