Here's an instruction sheet and questionnaire I made for my SHS English club for setting up a secret Santa gift exchange. I also had the kids write their own names on little slips which are how they drew names, that way they could also tape the name label to the gift to make it more secretive.
I'd recommend setting this up at least two weeks in advance- we ran out of time and could only set up a week in advance, so it was a bit rushed and stressful because the kids took a while to fill in their questionnaires.
The Japanese instructions say to leave the presents on Friday since our club party is on Friday, you can change to any date of the week or whatever date you want! But don't forget to change it or it might be confusing.
This is sweet, thank you! I will use it. When we have done an English club gift exchange activity in the past, we always have a student or two who end up not bringing a gift for some reason, or students who buy something strange (our exchange student this year thought it was funny to gift someone cellophane tape...). Has this happened to you? I have started to prepare extra, small gifts just in case...
Fortunately it didn't happen this year, but I did bring a couple of small things just in case! Since everything was prepped last minute I definitely was worried
