This is a simple activity to teach or review new prepositions based on page 88 of the Sunshine 2 textbook. It covers new prepositions as well as ones they should already know from elemetary school and first grade.
For teaching new content, it takes around 20 minutes. As a quick review it can be done in under 10 minutes.
Prepositions are introduced in small groups flash-card style - with an image to demonstrate and an example sentence next to it.
After each group, there is a short multiple-choice quiz to check they understand. Note: On the last question with the dogs, all the answers are correct.
I really like melonpan so I also added a bonus game to keep students foused:
Before starting the activity I let my students know that there is a secret melonpan hidden somewhere in the Powerpoint and the first person to find it gets a sticker. (It is in the river with the turtles.)
