A trivia game I made for my high school 2年生 class.
Categories include the UK, music, Japan, flags and a bonus round, riddles, if for whatever reason there's time left over. Each round has 5 questions.
Divide the class into teams of 5 or 6 and give each team a mini whiteboard.
Show the class the questions and give them time to talk to their team about the answer. I plan to give my students 1:30 - 2 minutes to discuss each question (except for the music round), and ask them to write their answer on their mini whiteboards when the time is up.
Teams that are correct score a point, teams that are incorrect score negative points. This might sound mean but my students seem to think it's funny, especially because the chance cards make the points each team has random anyway!
At the end of each round, the team with the highest score takes a 'chance' card randomly. I cut these into paper slips and folded them.

1) Flowers (0:25-0:50)
2) As it Was (0:37 - 0:59)
3) Take Two (0:43 - 1:07)
4) Is it Over Now? (0:43 - 1:10)
5) Super Shy (1:04 - 1:24)
