A short worksheet for students to practice the past continuous form. This worksheet could be used as an introduction to the grammar for 1st graders, or as a review activity for 2nd graders.
The worksheet is split into two sections.
The first section has them choosing the correct be-verb as well as conjugating verbs into continuous form. The verbs I've chosen are ones my students have already studied, so please change to suit if there are any your students may not know.
The second section has them translating simple Japanese sentences into English. Depending on your classes level, you may want to work through these together as a class.
