Weekly English Newsletter for SHS

At the beginning of the school year, I started a weekly newsletter for my senior high school students. I'll post the outline and some samples of what I did for the newsletter here.

I started a weekly English newsletter for my students so that they can interact with English more. It's posted at the back of their classroom every week.

It's called The Naru Times, but you can change the name to represent your school. It's one page with a very simple outline, but feel free to change the layout to whatever works for you!

For the "Weekly Spotlight", I usually write about something related to my culture or my country. For example, I sometimes talk about traditional foods from my culture!

For the purple squiggly box, you can write more about your culture or you can even have student volunteers write about anything! Usually I put something related to Weekly Spotlight, or I write about different slang and words we use in America.

For the ALT Mail box, you can try to have students interact with it. My students haven't done it yet, but I usually post "ALT Quiz" or "ALT Challenges"!

Again, feel free to change the layout to your liking!
