Unit 7 - Let`s make shape monsters!

This activity is to help students practice asking each other What do you want? and How many?.

Using the worksheet, students ask 6 classmates what shape they want and how many. They draw the shapes on the squares using colored crayons, and then use said shapes to make their own unique monster/character.

I usually demonstrate first on the blackboard, so Ill ask the HRT and random students what shape they want, how many and then draw my own character. At the end, Ill take pictures of everyone`s work and showcase on the smartboard. You can also have kids present their drawings and say what shapes they used.
