This is a simple Powerpoint with some questions I designed as a short activity. There are 10 questions, each with an A, B and C option. The difficulties range from easy to difficult. (Feel free to add or remove questions as you like.)
The format is designed to flow click by click. Nothing is timed.
Each question appears:
1) Question with any images that might help understanding
2) Answers appear (often one at a time so that you can read them)
3) A green circle reveals the answer.
This was not designed to be a full lesson, merely a time filler in case students finished work early. Since it is difficult to predict how much time we will have to play, we played it without a timer. Each student received a piece of paper to write their answers and we used the honor code to count points.
Possible variations include:
a) Working in groups and writing guesses on the board before revealing the correct answer
b) Working in groups and the first group to raise their hand gets to answer
c) Dividing the class in small groups to play against each other
Very cute pictures
Just the thing I was looking for- thank you! =D
Thank you for this!
This is perfect, exactly what I hoped to find! I added fade transitions instead of appear, and I changed the color of the ABC's on the picture of the inside of the house, but other than that it's excellent!
