Every year I display a Native American History month English board to give students a wider view of America. The people displayed in these files are mostly from the US because I use it as a way for students to get to know my home country better but please feel free to swap them out for people from your own country and talk about Indigenous people from there! This is a collection of the research and information I like to put up. I included a few pictures of my past English boards to give you inspiration.

-Map of cultural regions of Indigenous/Native America
-Various short introductions to famous celebrities and cultural artifacts
-Explanation of some US state name origins
-Children’s Handbook to the UN Declaration to the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (DRIPS)
-Poem by famous Native American poet
