Just a quick intro and 'quiz' to some common text acronyms.
Some of these are introduced in the Here We Go! 2 books, but I just like adding visuals to hopefully make it a little more interesting for the kids and make the meanings a little easier to understand than just text translations. Others aren't listed in the book but are really common.
I used the term 'quiz' very loosely in the powerpoint. I just gave the class a few seconds to think about what each acronym might mean before showing the answers.
I'll probably go back and add some more acronyms and maybe even slang words in the future, so please feel free to leave some suggestions in the comments and I'll be happy to update the powerpoint!
