This is a list of prompt questions using the infinitive form of verbs. These may be used for quizzes, worksheets, paired speaking, a small talk with a JTE etc.
These were written for use in third-grade JHS classes using New Horizon 3 and the Key Sentence "I want everyone to know this fact." on page 38. It's described in the textbook as "want + (人など) + to + 動詞の原形 "
- What do your parents want you to be?
- What do your parents want you to do at home? (chores)
- What band/singer do you want to come to [your town]?
- What do you want your parents to give you for your birthday?
- Where do you want your family to go in the summer vacation?
- What do you want [ALT] to teach you about [their home country]?
- What do you want [ALT]'s parents to see in [your town]?
- What do you want [ALT]'s parents to eat in [your prefecture]?

More challenging questions, possibly for longer-form written response and discussion:
