I job shadowed another ALT who did an activity very similar to this. I couldn't find it online, so I made my own worksheet!
It's a very simple activity. Put students into pairs. They choose a dish. Then they write down the ingredients.
For example, the dish is "spaghetti." Then students would write "pasta is used," etc.
Have students read the recipe to the class, so their classmates can try to guess the dish! I gave stickers to the students who could guess correctly.
Tell students that their ingredients aren't limited to the ingredients on the worksheet! You might have to help them with translating certain ingredients that aren't on this paper.
