Simple Codebreaker

This was inspired by other codebreaker activities on Altopedia. I put together this simple worksheet to use. First I explained the code and did an example using the powerpoint. Then I handed out the worksheet and had the students complete it on their own.
When they were done they could make their own code.

I did this with my elementary 5th graders. They were pretty fast-some could do it in under 10 minutes.
You can add/change the worksheet as much as you want.

This is a good simple writing activity if you have some extra time.
