Let's Try 1&2 U1 - Guess which country has _______

Show pictures of around the world and kids guess where it was

Need cards for all the countries shown in the unit.

Here is a very quick explanation...
Put cards of all the countries around the room. When ready show the slide picture and countdown for the kids to pick where it is or where they make that food. Establish a no-running rule. Kids will gather around the card that they think it is, 3.. 2… 1… (Check to make sure they have chosen) Answer! Cheer those that got it right (it's mostly a guessing game at this age) and repeat until the kids get bored or time runs out.

Most of the slides are the same in both powerpoints (since there is a lot of overlap in the countries) but since it is a year apart I find that the kids don't recall the answers from before.
This activity is a nice way to have a moving break and review the countries.

Just wanted to leave a comment to say thanks, I think these are a great resource to use in the classroom. You do have a few typos however, so I would recommend updating the files if that's possible. In the LT1 file, it says "Indian" instead of "India", and in the LT2 file it has the same mistake as well as "New zeland" instead of "New Zealand".

Thank you for catching that, I have updated them.
