This was inspired by LadyJJams and Celestar129 Takeover games. I was worried about the chaos coloring the map could lead to in my younger classes so I made a clickable version, however it is limited to only 26 prefectures.
It is a PowerPoint map of Japan where you can click on the prefectures to change their color. There can be max six teams. And you can use this for any grade or grammar point and use any way you'd like. I had teams write sentences then say the sentence to me to win the prefecture, but you can play however you want.
For teams to claim the prefecture:
1. Click on the prefecture name.
2. The green prefecture will appear.
3. Click on the green prefecture to trigger the blue, pink, red, yellow, and then black prefecture.
4. Click on black to reset the prefecture.
Update: I have fixed the map so that when you click on the black version of the prefecture it will return to clear and show the prefecture name so you can cycle through the colors again. Teams can now battle it out over the prefectures and if you accidentally skip the teams color you can cycle through again.
