“Have You Ever…?” Bingo

a bingo game to practice/review

  1. Pass out the bingo sheets. Make sure students have a chance to look over each square and understand the meanings.

  2. Ask students to stand, and walk around the classroom asking each other if they have ever…? If a student replies, “Yes, I have,” then they will sign the square. The first student to get a bingo of names wins.

Ex. Have you ever been to Australia ?
Yes, I have. (or “No, I haven’t.”)
Please sign here.

Variations:
To make the game longer, students can play until “Blackout,” when all of the squares have been filled.

  • Be sure that it is clear that the forms of the verbs must be changed for accuracy.
