Spelling Activity

A simple game to help elementary school students grades 3 and 4 to learn how to spell.

Directions:
First, teacher sends the powerpoint to the students' PCs.
Students open the powerpoint and then click "Read Only or 読み取り専用".
Students open the presetation and start the slide show.

Game procedure: (I called it " Evolution Game")

Students open the first slide. It's Anpanman. Then students show the slide to their friends and spell it.
Example;
Student A says: Hello, I'm Anpanman. A-N-P-A-N-M-A-N.
Student B says: Hello, I'm Conan. C-O-N-A-N.
Then they play rock, paper scissors.

Winner moves to the next slide to evolve to the next character.
Loser doesn't evolve.

The goal is to evolve from Anpanman to Naruto.

Use the Capital powerpoint file for grade 3 classes and the Lower Case powerpoint for grade 4 classes.

      I open it. It says that I have to enter a passoword to access the file.

      The instructions say to do "read only" mode and it should give you an option to choose "read only" when it prompts for a password. Might be good to post an unlocked version so people can choose their own characters

      Hi ivyant, I will add the unlocked versions too so you can change the character as you wish, but the reason why I lock the files it's because if the files are unlocked the students tend to play and shift the pictures around, and we teachers lose a lot of time fixing the powerpoint.

      Hi foolishQuadFire, I added 2 versions now. A read only version "locked" and an "unlocked" version. The locked version you don't have to use a password to use the powerpoint, you just need to click "Read Only" or in Japanese "読み取り専用" botton.
