I made two versions of this bingo, one for classes to practice single letter uppercase writing, and one for students to practice full word writing.
All illustrations are by me :) and hopefully they can explain each word a bit (although I cut gingerbread short for space reasons)
Have students write each letter/word one time in each box, crossing as they go. If there are students that finish writing before others, there's space in each box for them to draw a picture for each word!
There's 9 spaces, but around 15 words, so the ALT will call out (and write at the same time if you want) each word. I haven't done this specific bingo yet, but I might do around 9-12 calls depending on the class. You can adjust for more or less, depending on how many bingos you want. Students can circle each word/letter they have that is called out.
At the end I usually say "who has x bingos?", starting at 0 and ending at whoever had the most bingos. Some of my JLTs will write the names of who has the first bingo, who has 0 bingos, and who has the most bingos on the board and some will have a certain pattern that determines "the winner". This usually lessens tensions and keeps the stakes pretty low.
Nice one! Thank you capybara (≧∇≦)/
