Great powerpoint! Just one thing is that the slide that mentions Auld Lang Syne could be answered with the UK, too.
This is a great warm up activity for the new year. However I must say for slide two that in Jamaica, cornbread, greens and beans isn't a dish commonly eaten there. Maybe something along the lines of a "watch night" service would be a good replacement if you do decide to edit.

Greece could also be a good addition, usually we make Vasilopita (its a cake with a coin in it) and then you cut pieces for the members of your family and whoever gets the coin has good luck for the year :)
