Students make their own season ranking powerpoint. They can have reasons they like the season and reasons they don't like the season.
Students take turns presenting their season ranking to each other in groups and then in front of the class (If they have the confidence).
I made a list to help them think of ideas. The students can tick the boxes they feel are related to their view. There is also the event list on page 28 of the picture dictionary: We have halloween, swimming meet, sports day, summer vacation ect.

ALT: Hello Tanaka sensei, what season do you like?
JTE: I like winter.
ALT: Wow really! Why?
JTE: We have winter vacation. Also, there are no bugs. What season do you like ALT sensei?
ALT: I like spring because we have golden week and it is warm.
Next, show them the example powerpoint.
Lastly, go through each sentence for the LIKE season reasons, and DISLIKE season reasons.
Try to use gestures to explain each reason and some Japanese to aid with difficult unknown words.
Grammar: I like fall because... We have~ in spring.
There is a script you can hand out as practice. Cut it in half to save paper :)
