🐉Find the Dragon!🐉

(LT2, Unit 8) Vocabulary review. There's a dragon hiding somewhere in the school! Find it to bring you and your class a little good luck for the year!

Since 2024 is the year of the dragon, I wanted to make a dragon-themed game to review Unit 8 vocabulary words!

Directions:

There are 7 levels total.

A student raises their hand and chooses a location using the target phrase: My favorite place is the...[place in the school].

Click on it to check if the DRAGON is there. If not, the game continues until the DRAGON is found. Use the SPACE BAR to advance to the next round.

This game works best with small to medium sized classes.

Notes:

There are sound effects and a simple curtain animation.

And a special thank you to user @TinaPotato for their flashcards, I couldn't have made this game without them!

This is a nice way to practice the target sentence or vacabularies. Thanks for sharing.

I have a similar activity like this. It's find Charizard instead. I don't use ppt so I simply created a Charizard magnet together with some Charmander and cracked egg magnets.

Used this earlier in class as a review segment for the vocabulary. The kids had a blast! Thank you!

Absolutely brilliant. Just one suggestion, maybe consider adding gold coins or bars behind each picture as points to get the kids to keep answering even if the dragon is found.
