There are three attachments. First, the student’s shop where they write how much each item costs. This will be given to all students because they all will have a chance to be the clerk. The other two attachments are entitled Group A and Group B. This means students will be working in pairs. There are two ways to decide which attachment goes to each student: first, play Jansen. Winner takes Group A. Or you could divide the class as the row on the left as Group A and row on the right as Group B.
Group A and Group B have different items that they need to buy. The goal is for the students to use the key expressions. It doesn’t matter if they end up buying the item or not.
My JTE wrote the dialogue on the board which made it easier for the students to follow through. We also did a demo dialogue, one of us as a staff/clerk. You need to make a sample item on the board such as follows:
You need to buy:
A t-shirt
small
Under 10 dollars
Get the students do the dialogue at the same time. They sit down when they are finished.
When all the items on Group A have been bought, change roles. The clerk becomes the customer using Group B worksheet.
Make sure to discuss the plan with your JTE first as you will need help to execute this plan well.
Hello! There is only one attachment named "Student's Shop".
Ooops. Sorry I have attached the other ones.
