Name Tags: Printable / Laminatable / Clippable

These are name tags I used for all of my JHS students. Print them, write students names (or have them write them), laminate, and cut them and then use clips to attach to shirts or Japanese nametags.

These are name tags I used for all of my JHS students. Print them, write students names (or have them write them) in big letters on each name tag, laminate them, and cut them and then use clips to attach to students' shirts or Japanese nametags!

I find these better than "desk tent" style name tags, because they work even when students are standing up or moving around for group work.

I made a bag for each class and had the students keep them in the classroom until it was time for my class so I didn't have to carry them around. Then I have a student pass out the name tags and clips before class begins. It was a lot of work at the beginning, but it was worth the effort! Whenever a name tag breaks or gets lost, I make a memo and just print and laminate a new one!

@janeenmp, I've tried the name tags before but they didn't work for me. The studetns would either lose them, or stick it on a place you can read it, and if they are girls, usually their hair get on the way etc... As an alternative what I do is; ask the HRT for a class picture, then I would take a black marker and write their names on the picture. After writing their names on the picture I laminate it and leave in the back of my textbook. By doing that is like they are wearing their name tags all the time no matter what. haha...
