Just a little Google Slides game I made for Unit 8 in the Let's Try 1 textbook.
Rules are in the slides but this is basically how it goes:
The kids will be shown a pixelated image on the screen and will be given 10 seconds to think about what the image is.
Once the 10 seconds are up, volunteers will have to raise their hands and share their answer with the class. (I usually do a class vs HRT kinda thing so we get one volunteer from the class vs the HRT's answer)
After listing down all their answers, reveal what the image is and give out points accordingly.
This game is great if you could include your JTE/HRT in it too!
A rough lesson plan for this activity would be:
Explain the rules.
Play the game.
I will be updating the slides to tweak the difficulty of the game whenever I feel it is necessary so please keep that in mind and watch out for any updates :)
*Edit: I have tweaked the difficulty and took out the group aspect of the game to make it a class vs sensei kinda activity. Feel free to comment below if you'd like a group version!
