A simple quiz for compound words!
This power point has 24 questions to test their knowledge of compound words. Each question has two pictures to combine together to create one word. It's really simple, no transitions or anything as I had the intent of printing this and using for my English board but just never did.
It has worked well in JHS when we've had a few minutes left at the end of class.
So this can be used for a warm up, extra time filling or for your English board!
Examples include:
Ear + Ring = Earring
Pan + Cake = Pancake
Sun + Flower = Sunflower
etc etc
*all the hint slides do not include words, only pictures of the item. The answer slide has words included however.
