Make your time schedule Let's Try 2: Unit 4

This is a worksheet where students make their original time schedule using the time and adjectives they learned in unit 4 of the Let's try 2 textbook.

This is a worksheet I created on Canva for students to make their original time schedules using the English AM and PM times and activities they learned in unit 4 of the Let's try 2 textbook. My JET, the students, and I found that the matching clock and picture listening activity on page 14 and 15 of the textbook was very confusing for the students. Since it it not a regular clock and instead its cut in half in a weird way and has the numbers 1-12 twice. So we decided I would create this worksheet to better supplement the students understanding of AM and PM.

In this worksheet, students have 2 clocks, each representing AM or PM. Students will draw 1 of 10 activity words in each box of their daily routine, and then they will draw a line matching the box to either clock at the corresponding time. After this, students will glue their worksheet on pages 14 and 15 in their textbook. Then, they will share their schedules in their table groups by playing a game and showing each other their finished worksheets.

The sentence frames for the game:

A: It's (activity) time.
What time is it?

B: It's ______ AM/PM.

In this post, I have also attached the large activity/time cards I used to support the students learning. The large time cards are from totcards.com. These were free, however, they only had small versions available. So I made these cards larger, but they are a bit pixelated, so I suggest going over them with a black marker to make them look less pixelated. I have also attached my lesson plan for my upcoming lesson with the students.

Hope this helps!
