What do you want to do... Flick Game

This is an activity to practice the targeted grammar "What do you want to do...?" for 1st grade JHS (Here We Go 1)

Textbook: Here We Go 1 /Unit 3 / Part 3 / p. 54-55

First, present the PowerPoint to introduce the new words along with their meanings in Japanese. Allow the students to familiarize themselves with the words and their corresponding pictures. Next, have the students pair up and play rock-paper-scissors (janken) to decide who goes first.

The winner flicks his/her eraser onto the worksheet, and when it lands on an image, their partner asks a question. The winner then answers based on the image where the eraser landed. He/she earns points based on the value assigned to that image.

Then, it's the loser's turn to flick his or her eraser.

Be prepared for your JTE to ask you to change 'see a movie' to 'watch a movie'.
