Despite all textbook readings coming off as robotic, a lot of lessons in my SHS textbooks want to show how fluid and fluctuating the English language can be. I came up with this short lesson and worksheet to show that the emphasis placed on a word can change the implied meaning of a sentence, and affect the flow of a story.
When creating the worksheet, it accidentally became a good reminder of the 5 W's 1 H.

Just a small note: the powerpoint is not entirely accurate, in that the emphasis being SHE said I did not take his money, would not by itself change the meaning to mean "someone else said it". That would require the sentence to also change to, SHE did not say that I took his money.
