hi hi!
This is my second music quiz, so if you're looking for instructions about the best way to distribute students, you can find it there!
Other than that, this quiz is essentially the same
Level 1: "What country is this song from?"
Students struggle so hard with this, but they find it so interesting. It also gives me a chance to expose them to different cultures. And they can, for the most part, understand the culture associated with the beat.
Level 2: Fill-in-the-blank
Super self explanatory. Have students guess which phrase or word is associated with the song (they usually ask to hear it twice. For my lower grades, I let them listen as many as 3 times, but if I want to challenge my older students, the don't get more than two chances to hear the song)
Level 3: "Which song is it?"
Students must guess which song is being played. The title of the song is played, so advise students to read the titles of the songs, along with actively listening.
Bonus Levels
Guess the Anime Song: This is a speed round where I tell students that the first group to write the name of the anime on their whiteboard get 3 points (but you can do anything you like with this section)
Put the songs in order: It is more difficult to explain it, so I'll usually give them a visual representation. I'll have them number their boards 1-6 and tell them like this
ALT: First, listen (and I gesture to my ear). Second, think (I'll put a hand to my chin). Third, Write (I write a song title on the black board in spot 1).
And I'll repeat this for about two more examples. Students usually get it by the second example!
The songs all play at one time, so there's no opportunity to relisten (unless you want to play the whole thing again)
Which language is it: I'll have students write 1-3 on their whiteboards and ask them to Guess the Language of the songs. They sometimes struggle, but it's fun!
That's all!

I love these song challenge games. Just by the way on slide 25 for ATEEZ Crazy Form the reveal answer says Japanese, when it should say Korean. It was an easy fix on my end but just in case others don't know!
ack omg tysm!!! @minecraftbee
Hi there. These song challenges are awesome and I have been using them in classes. I wonder though if there is a way to edit the files. Because of time, I can't show all the slides and wanted to omit some of them but it seems I don't have permission to edit the file. I've tried downloading and saving the files but the music files aren't saved.
Can you or anyone else who has used this activity help with this please?
Thank you.
