Speaking activity for What a ~! and How ~ !. Also has a small writing section at the end of the worksheet.
Students read the script (a re-hash of the New Horizon pg 82 text), and one gives the other a birthday present (the printed pictures put in pouches), to which they must try to react. For example, if they get the picture of the cat, they can say "How cute! What a cute cat!" etc.
There is a table of adjectives to help them.
In the powerpoint/pdf, there's the pictures and presents. I cut the presents out with excess on 3 sides, then just folded it so it became a pouch. (Fold both long edges, then fold one short edge over to hold them in place and seal it, leaving the other end as the open mouth.)
And then finally the worksheet with the script to follow, and a writitng section afterwards. (The いいね box was just to give some proof that they have spoken to multiple people. Feel free to remove it.)
