Monthly Newsletter - October

Monthly newsletter for each grade (using New Horizon), employing grammar from what unit (I hope) we're studying that month.

I decided to make a monthly newsletter for each grade (using New Horizon), employing grammar from what unit (I hope) we're studying that month. This isn't homework or an in-class activity (though it can be if you want). Students are meant to do it on their own time if they want to. Trying to make English more fun lol.

If students complete the questions and quiz, then they can receive a sticker from me to go on their sticker page (check "Monthly Newsletter - May" for the document).

This one uses less personal information than usual so will be easy to edit for your own needs. I've included the link to the canva that you can make a copy of and then edit to suit your needs. Please check "Monthly Newsletter - May" for more thorough instructions on how to use.

Hey, cute idea! I like the materials a lot. Just one thing on the first page - "know" in Japanese is 知っている, not してる. Really cool stuff, though - I love the Nightmare Before Christmas and should try bringing it up with my kids this year. :)

You did great! The newsletter looks so interesting. Your students must enjoy it.

@sbrshteacher Yikes, that's embarrassing. Unfortunately my kids have already receved the mistake XD Fixed though, thanks!

I wouldn't worry about it too much! Hopefully it emboldens them to use English more even if they make mistakes. It's natural and nothing to be embarrassed about! :)
