Collaborate with your school librarian to incentivize students to check out English books!
Hide tickets in English books at the school library OR have librarian give out tickets when students check out an English book. (My library has 207 English books in one small section, and we went with the latter option.)
Promote the tickets through the homeroom teachers (any students can participate!)
Students will receive a ticket from the library, but must give the ticket to you to exchange it for a prize (I bought stickers and erasers on Amazon).
Students can solve the cipher on the back for an extra prize!
This helps out your school librarian, who works very hard to get students to check out materials, and this also encourages your students to browse through the English books available!

This is so cute! I want to do something like this but I'll have to make some edits now that Halloween is almost over. Have you done this outside of the Halloween season?
No, I haven't made them outside of the Halloween season, but soon I'm going to make Thanksgiving ones!!! So keep posted! :) If I find a way to tag you when I make them, I will. This is my first year as an ALT so I'm just getting started! >:)
