Students will use hint pictures to try and guess what and how to use the universal design item. Then there is the slide with the item and sentences to explain why it's a good item. I recommend giving students 30 seconds to one minute per hint to talk about their guess. On the last slide, they can be given about two minutes or longer to discuss which they think is best and why.
If they need help finding action words, have them use page 152 in the textbook or use their tablets to find the word they need.
