First I did a quick review of what each of the conjunctions (when, because, if, that), i.e. I allowed students to answer. They may say the answers in Japanese or give examples.
Then I explained how to play. Students go in groups and then choose a random number and answer questions.
I have multiple choice questions, fill in the blank, true or false (is the sentence grammatically correct) and some easy word translation (for some spice).
I used a wheel randomizer to determine points to keep things exciting.
Inspired by @lianneinjapan board game on Conjunctions and someone else’s game that had the pixel game-like background.
