Hello!
This is a fun activity that I did with my 三年生 students to practice the grammar of NH3 pg.74.
Instructions:
Print and create cards of famous people or characters that students will be able to talk about easily. I will include a PDF to show you an example. My cards were a bit difficult, but my students enjoyed them. I also included the names of some teachers, and that seemed to be very popular with the kids.
Explain the rules:
Students will get into groups of four and play janken to decide the group order. Student 1 will grab a card from the deck and hold it up to their forehead without looking at it. The rest of the group will describe the character or famous person using the grammar point above. For example, 'This is a man who has influenced a lot of people' or 'This is a robot who is blue.' The student will then try to guess who the character or famous person is based on the descriptions. I allowed each student one minute to try to guess as many cards as possible. We played this as a review, so there was no winner.
That's all! Enjoy!
