Let's Play (Round 2!)

In Let's Try 1, students did a similar activity to Let's Try 2: Unit 1's Let's Play. This is just that activity, but round 2!

Flow

1. Two students play rock paper scissors to decide who should ask first.
2. The winner says "Hi, I'm NAME. N-A-M-E.". The loser should write the name down.
3. The loser does the same with their name, and the winner writes their name down.
4. The winner asks "What do you like?"
5. The loser answers, and the winner writes down the loser's answer.
6. Switch and repeat steps 4 and 5.
7. "Thank you! Bye!" both students find new partners.

Instructions

1. Go through the PowerPoint, demonstrating how to perform the activity with another teacher.
2. Hand out the handouts
3. Practice the questions and answers with the class
4. Let's play! Walk around and find a partner

Extras

If students have name cards they can show their partners, it can speed things up.

You can edit the Word document with your (and potentially another teacher's) name.
